I recently featured a White Stuff coat on one of my weekend wishlists, and I'm generally really impressed by how great their winter essentials are. I'm usually quite a short-term person when it comes to fashion - I often buy cheap and fall out of love quite quickly. But when it comes to 'investment' type purchases, I'm happy to pay a little more for quality, and White Stuff have a great balance of affordable and long-lasting. White Stuff is stocked at John Lewis, a place that, for me, has a great reputation for stocking quality products, and I've picked out some bits and pieces that I'd love to be wearing as winter draws nearer!
Quirky scarves are always a great way to perk up your winter wardrobe, and I'd say knives and forks (and spoons!) are quite an unusual pattern! For something a bit more conservative but still giving plenty of colour, the bright purple Catch Me If You Can scarf is a great choice. However, my favourite of them all has to be the Moth Print scarf, I just love the colours and it's another unusual but easy to wear print.
Okay, so a bag isn't really a winter 'essential', but I couldn't not include this as I really, really love the style. It's made of real leather, meaning it'll last you through plenty of winters, and the satchel style will never date. Perfect for storing all those packets of tissues and flu medicine, as well as all the usual day-to-day items!
What will your outfit essentials be this autumn/winter?
