Basically, a few bits of midweek #foodporn about some awesome eats I've had lately...
The Fajita Burger
Last weekend I went up to Nottingham to catch up with old friends - we all met through Download festival, and have quite regular meet ups around the country, which are always the best fun ever. Before a night of drinks and dancing, we stopped off at The Navigation pub for Annie's Burger Shack, who make THE best burgers I've ever tasted. This time I plumped for a fajita burger, as Mexican food is my ultimate fave - and it was absolutely incredible!
I recently discovered the amazingness that is Samba Swirl in Islington. I actually prefer frozen yoghurt to ice cream, and the self-service fro-yo bar has tons of flavours and toppings. It's near where I work, so I forsee quite a few trips there in my lunch breaks!
The Sunday Lunch
On the Sunday of my Nottingham trip, my parents popped up to see me and my brother (he goes to Uni there) and we went to a place called Squares for lunch. I hadn't had a proper Sunday roast in FOREVER, so I opted for the roast beef lunch, and it was rather amazing! For some reason the stuffing ball arriving in the Yorkshire pud made me giggle slightly too...I definitely need to have roasts on a more regular basis!
