Soap and Glory 'Butter Yourself' Body Cream, £10.50 (300ml), Boots
When I headed home last week, my lovely Mum passed on a few bath and body bits to me that she wasn't going to use, and one of them was the Soap and Glory 'Butter Yourself' body cream.
Butter Yourself is a fruity, smoothing body cream, with ingredients (for the full list, check the full product information on the link) intended to exfoliate dead skin cells and stimulate skin renewal, soften and smoothe, antioxidise and moisturise - and it's also paraben-free. The new Fruitigo Fragrance has notes of frozen yuzu, orange oil, green fig and jungle pomelo essence. You can definitely pick up on the fruity fragrance, although it's not overpowering, and overall the product smells lovely and luxurious.
Unlike a lot of body butters I've tried, this cream has a medium-thick consistency, applying with a non-greasy feel, and sinks in really well. My skin definitely felt more moisturised and super-smooth after using it. Although I've used a lot of body products that I've enjoyed, the scent in particular has made this one a firm favourite, and I've been using it every day, all over. And, as with most Soap and Glory products, it looks fab on my bedside table!
