Caudalie Lip Conditioner, £4.95 (4g), FeelUnique
As I've mentioned in previous posts, I suffer from VERY dry lips, and I've been through so many lip balms that just don't do enough to combat this. Caudalie is a brand I've tried before, one of their moisturisers (and my eye's on the Beauty Elixir next!), which I really liked using, so when I saw they had a lip product, I really wanted to give it a go. The Lip Conditioner is formulated with 99.5% naturally derived ingredients, and like all Caudalie products, is free from parabens and animal-derived raw materials.
I'm actually so genuinely impressed with how well this works. Like, it REALLY works for me. At the time I bought this, my lips were pretty horrible - they were dehydrated, cracked and sore. Even after one use of this, I felt a difference, and after prolonged use my lips were softer and calmer than they've ever been before. The formula is pretty thick, and you can use just a light slick for a little moisture boost, or a thicker application for full-on moisturising. I put quite a thick layer on before I go to bed at night and it's still working through to the morning, so it's long lasting too.
The product has a light vanilla scent, which isn't overpowering at all. Usually with flavoured lip balms I end up being naughty and licking my lips, but I haven't had that problem with this. It also lacks stickiness or greasiness that I've found in some lip balms, and it goes on clear, giving you a little bit of shine with the moisturising.
I also think the price is very reasonable from quite a mid-high end brand - and if you suffer as badly as I do with dry lips, this is a bit of a lifesaver!
