Coat, H&M, £10 (sale) // Top, H&M (old) // Skirt, Urban Outfitters (old)
I did have an 'interesting' (and maybe vaguely controversial, although don't get your hopes up too much, it's not THAT exciting!) post scheduled for today, but I've pushed it back to tomorrow as I took some photos last night, and wanted to share my new bargain coat with you all!
I'm normally quite boring with my coat choices, I have two checked ones, one of which I don't even really like as it's not the most flattering! When I saw this leopard print coat in H&M, I had a bit of an 'ooh' moment, and continued to spend about 30 minutes trying it on, carrying it round, trying it on again...and in the end I decided to take the plunge and buy it! It had an original price tag of about £40, but it had been reduced to just £15. And it gets better...when I (finally) took it to the till (still debating if I could pull it off!) and the assistant scanned it through, it was a tenner. TEN POUNDS for this crazy, cosy coat of awesomeness. The more I've worn it, the more I fall in love with it. It just makes me feel all kinds of fabulous!
I've definitely noticed a change in my outfit confidence since moving to London - it feels like somewhere I can experiment a bit more with fashion and my own style, and this is even coming through in my make-up choices - I'm more confident rocking a bold lip than I used to be, and I think my blunt fringe and black hair set this coat off perfectly.
How do you think your fashion choices have changed over the past year?
