Old School Hand Care with Atrixo

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited along to an event by Atrixo, with loads of vintage-inspired fun, including scones and a knitting session - which took me a while to get the hang of and still looked quite messy, but I enjoyed doing! I also got my hair and make-up did and indulged in some yummy scones and cakes, all thanks to the lovely and super-awesome ladies from The Vintage Patisserie - something I'll be doing a post on at a later date in a more in-depth way!

Atrixo, to me, is one of those classic brands that have been around forever - I'm pretty sure my Mum used to have a pot/tube of it lying around at all times. In the winter especially, hands can get dry and chapped as a result of this hideous weather we seem to be having at the moment, so a good hand cream is definitely something I see as a necessity. One good thing about the Atrixo range is the variety of sizes - the little one is great for popping in your handbag, and the larger ones by your bed or on your desk at work.

Although the packaging is very simple, and I usually get suckered in by pretty things, I've really enjoyed using them. They soak into the skin well (although it's not instant, and it's probably a good idea to keep your hands still for a few minutes before touching anything!) and definitely work to soften and smooth dry mitts. I also found that the Regenerating Treatment works brilliantly on dry skin on my feet as well - finding multipurpose products is always a plus!
